What is this Candida and Probiotic Connection?

“I’ve heard about candida, yeast over growth in the digestive tract and that it is actually beneficial when our own natural digestion process gets interrupted.  So why should I start taking probiotics, isn’t the candida actually helping me?”

Great question!  Yes, Candida is beneficial in its own way, but at a price.  Candida does consume the mass quantities of sugars in our diet, and we’re not just talking sweets we’re talking carbohydrates as well.  The bad news: Candida is not our friend, and if we continue to feed it the Candida yeast will continue to multiply and spread.  Candida is known to release toxins in the body, which means your immune system will be overtaxed, and if Candida is taking your sugars it is also taking your nutrients.  Try starting your car when the gas tank is empty, or even worse, if you tried to run off the wrong kind of fuel.  Sometimes I think we are lucky just to get out of bed in the morning!

Probiotics are our saving grace when it comes to dealing with a Candida overgrowth.  Probiotics do more than just help us break down our foods so we can get the precious nutrients inside, but it also detoxes our system, fighting the fungus, bacteria, and toxins and flushing them away so they are not absorbed from our gut into the body.

The key is to get quality probiotics, and to take them as recommended.  Stay tuned at CandidaProbiotics.com, and we’ll explore more about the benefits of probiotics, and how to eradicate Candida from your body.
