Systemic Candida and Cancer

Candida is a big enough problem in what seems to be a healthy body, but what about those who have been diagnosed and treated for health issues such as cancer?

Fungal infections can be a problem for those in treatment for a malignant disease. According to a study reported in the American Journal of Medicine there were many interesting points expressed.

Early detection of Candidiasis?

According to the study the cultures and serologic tests were typically of no help in detecting fungal infections in the early stages of the infection. Does this mean that Candida fungal infections are of little concern? It seems reasonable that we must view symptoms of Candida fungal infections as a likely issue.

Cancer Recovery With Systemic Candida

The study also stated that over 50 of the patients that did not have an organ Candida infection recovered. For those who had proven deep organ infections the recovery rate was dramatically lower, dropping down to only six percent. Respiratory failure was the cause of death in over 60 percent of these cases.
